## Patient Preparation Guidelines

- **Fasting Blood Sugar & Lipid Panels**: Require 8 to 12 hours of fasting (no food or sweet drinks). Plain water is permitted and encouraged.
- **STD / STI Testing**: No fasting required. For urine PCR tests, avoid urinating for at least 1 hour prior to specimen collection.
- **Hormone Tests (Testosterone / Cortisol)**: Best drawn between 07:00 - 10:00 AM for optimal diurnal peak accuracy. Fasting not required unless paired with glucose/lipids.
- **Walk-ins**: Walk-in patients are warmly welcomed at any time during operating hours. Appointments are optional.
